WIU, USA in Don Bosco

Ms Charu Modi Bharatiya, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Ms Sweta Sharma, Admission Officer to Modi Apollo International Institute, New Delhi, the official representative  of Western International University, Arizona, USA, delivered a talk program on “ Prospects on Management Education” for grade XII management students on December 21, 2008. Speaking on the program, Ms Bharatiya explained how students aspiring to go to the USA for further studies in management could avoid the expenses by enrolling in Western International University; New Delhi, India based university of WIU, USA. Another speaker Ms. Sweta Sharma highlighted the need for personality development for management students to make career in future. Principal Mr. Kapil Dev Regmi and Vice-Principal Ms Samjhana Kharel thanked the presenters for managing their valuable time for Don Bosco despite their busy schedule. The program was attended by around 300 students.

 
Grade XI Go Grand in Picnic

Grade XI students from Management and Humanities streams revelled all day round singing, dancing and playing a lot of games throughout the day on the secluded mound in Dhulikehl from the busy and noisy Kathmandu on Poush 26. Principal Kapil Dev Regmi and Vice Principal Samjhana Kharel were present in the spot and participated in the fun the students had.

 
The Best Honored

Don Bosco honored students securing top ten positions in the grade XI exams conducted by Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) in 2008 from Management and Humanities streams. The top ten students were given away the letters of appreciation and granted scholarships for their effort. Mr. Mumit Pradhan and Ms Adarsha Dhungel were the first students from Management and Humanities streams respectively. The certificates were distributed by Principal Kapil Dev Regmi amidst the grand assembly on Poush 28.

 
Traveling through the Landscape

Students from Grade XII Management and Humanities streams went into two nights and three days tour to Sauraha of Chitwan and Pokhara. The tour began on Magh 11 at 8 am. The party stopped at Malekhu for lunch and reached Chitwan at around 4 in the evening. The programs in Sauraha included elephant riding, viewing sunset and elephant breeding farm. While in Pokhara, the party enjoyed boating in Fewa Lake, visiting Gupteswor Cave and Mahendra Cave besides other sites. The party returned to Kathmandu on 13th Magh. Altogether 57, including six teachers, were in the tour.
